Creating an "Impactful and Scalable" identity for a coffee brand

About the brand

Ivory Brew is a premium, family-owned luxury coffee brand that emphasizes quality over quantity. Known for its small-batch, hand-roasted coffee beans, the brand values craftsmanship, tradition and an unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional coffee experience.

The Challenge

Ivory Brew seeks a logo that:

  1. Embodies the brand's values of quality, heritage, and sophistication.

  2. Scales effortlessly across various platforms and packaging sizes.

  3. Maintains simplicity and clarity to ensure cost-effective printing without compromising visual appeal.

Design Goal

To design a logo that invokes sense of warmth and exclusivity. It should balance minimalism with craftsmanship.

I started to explore the typography & a symbol to represent the coffee brand

After looking at what other luxury coffee brand were doing and taking brand's values into consideration I went ahead with a Serif font type and customised it to create a unique and minimal logotype.

For Ivory Brew’s logomark, an elephant facing forward with prominent ivory tusks was a perfect choice as it embodied strength, and tradition. The sharp edges reflect the brand’s commitment to quality and sophistication.

I wanted the brand colours to convey warmth & luxury

I didn't want to take the greens and browns, the most commonly used colours in the current coffee industry!

To make the brand scalable and for cost-effective printing, I designed - Stamps & Stickers!
